Attention span: 8/10 You have to start over each time. Controls: 10/10 The arrow keys. Implementation: 10/10 A simple but challanging puzzler. Overall: 9/10 If you like puzzles, try this one.
BoxWorld is a puzzle game written by Joe Wingbermuehle (author of the ION assembly shell), and ported to ION by Matthew Landry of TCPA. It's a simple but challanging game; you move your cursor trying to push boxes into a hole (which looks like a colon). You can't pull boxes, so you might end up restarting harder levels a few times after making the level impossible to beat, but you have an unlimited number of tries on each level.
My main complaint about this game is that once you quit the game, you have to start over, no matter where you were at. This made it a bit harder for me to come back to the game, not wanting to play levels I had already beaten several times. Also, the graphics are decent, but could be a lot better.
Really, though, this is a very good puzzle game, easy to learn, easy to play, and a good challange for any player. And should you beat the built-in levels, you can download level sets, or make your own. This game is one you'll want to get. |
